A choice of a half-day trek form the take off point in San Jose, or an hour ride on a 4WD truck gets you to the lake. Either way, you are treated to the lush greens and cool, crisp mountain air around you. Spend the rest of the day kayaking or hiking through the rock trail around the lake.
