Orientwind Travel and Tours began its operations in November, 1991 (formerly under the trade name Southwind Travel & Tours) and has become one of the more established and reliable agencies in the region, with an extension office at the Bethel Guesthouse in Rizal Boulevard, Dumaguete City, and a branch office at Siquijor, Siquijor.  Its head office is located inside the Lab-as Compound at 201 Flores Avenue, Piapi, Dumaguete City.

Orientwind operates as a full-service travel agency and tour operator, providing services including international and domestic ticketing, hotel bookings, packaged tours to international and domestic destinations, educational tours, dive bookings, and other outdoor tour programs, rent-a-car arrangements, passport and visa assistance, and documentation of travel-related papers.

We handle international ticketing with different airlines including Philippine Airlines, Northwest Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Korean Air, Japan Airlines, China Airlines, Continental Airlines, British Airways and Qantas Airlines. As an authorized sales agent of Philippine Airlines, we issue automated and electronic PAL domestic tickets. We carry tickets for other major domestic carriers including Cebu Pacific and Air Philippines.

We are accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT)-Region 7 and the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). We are a member of the Philippine Travel Agents’ Association (PTAA), the Philippine Tour Operators’ Association (PHILTOA), the National Association if Independent Travel Agencies (NAITAS) and the Negros Oriental Association of Travel and Tour Agencies (NOATTA).
